Privacy Policy
Ratzon operates the Ratzon app and ratzonapp.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to jared@ratzonapp.com.
Information we collect
We collect the account information you provide: name, email address, phone number, birthday, school, tradition, optional community membership, and account timezone. We also collect photos and captions you submit as wrap check-ins, App Store subscription and monthly charity-voting records, device/app diagnostics needed to operate the service, and reports you submit about community content.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure your account, operate check-ins and the community feed, provide account support, verify subscription access and administer charity voting, prevent abuse and fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing and payments
Wrap photos and captions you choose to share appear in the Global feed for signed-in Ratzon members. The My Community feed filters these posts to members of your selected community. If you join a community, that community’s designated admins can view your profile, complete wrap history, captions, and wrap photos, including check-ins you do not share to the feed, for challenge administration and support. The app discloses this access when you join. Current iOS subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store; Ratzon does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. We may share information with service providers that process payments, host data, or help operate the app, only as needed for those purposes.
Charity voting
Your vote is associated with your Ratzon account to enforce one vote per monthly round. Aggregate results and company donation confirmations may be displayed to members. Ratzon donates its own funds; subscription payments do not create a personal charitable balance. We do not provide charities with your account details merely because you voted.
Retention and deletion
You can start account deletion in the app under Account → Settings → Delete account. We delete your account profile, onboarding information, posts, and stored check-in photos. Deleting your Ratzon account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel renewal separately in Apple subscription settings. We may retain the minimum payment, fraud, tax, or other records required by law, and will explain any delay or legal retention requirement if it applies.
Community safety
You can report a community post or block its author using the post’s options menu. Blocking hides that person’s posts from your feeds. We review reports and may remove posts or restrict accounts that violate our community rules. For safety or privacy concerns, contact us at the email above.
Children
Ratzon is not available to children under 13. Account setup requires confirmation that the member is at least 13, and a provided birthday indicating an age under 13 is rejected.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. The current version will always be available at this address.
